Full Moon in Capricorn and Mercury Retrograde.
We have a RARE event with both Mercury retrograde at 26* Cancer and the Full Moon in Capricorn/Cancer at 8*, occurring on the date. June 29 2026
What can we expect globally and personally under this new cycle? Let’s dissect each one.
The Full Moon
The Moon will be at 8* Capricorn making a square to Neptune at 4* Aries. This is a warning astrological cycle.
Several things to watch out for come to mind. Personally, Any situation where you could feel something is amiss, some situation must be confronted and handled such as a discouragement, ambiguities, vagaries, disappointments and fear, irrational emotional reactions to things not turning out the way one desired, these are all scenarios coming under this Moon square Neptune.
Globally, Neptune in a hard aspect like this, requires detective work, good intuition and a logical mind for the nature of this one Neptune, is to deceive. Sometimes we’ve just not been reading the signals correctly. A particular scenario might have been building up for a few weeks, creating some tension… on the global scene are also curiously increasing disturbing confusion, incomplete explanations, and possible mysterious unresolved issues leaving us all hanging there. Some losses, disclosures of deceptions, lies and intrigue of public figures would also be part of an issue building reaching a maximum point of spill over.
Full Moons mean something has been building and brewing for a while, and by the time the Moon is Full, it is overflowing (like water spilling over a lake or river after a hard rain) all over the place, and now it has crested with the information or event, and it’s too late, it’s all going to come out. The confusing events are not benign – they might be sudden unexpected disruption in a particular area of the world. As Capricorn Moon can rule governments, Neptune square Moon is prone to deception and a weak position, or is it faking a particular posture as we move through some game or play.
Thirdly – in General, a simple urge to complain, condemn and protest against a Neptunianly disappointing undesirable situation which has been building for a while. The protest would be like calling something out – exposing the deception, dysfunction of a scenario or act. This could be in our personal lives also. Confronting that which has been messy, untidy, undesirable in some way, confusing, not clear. Now it has come to a head and is going to be addressed. Becoming courageous and boldly dealing with an issue would be the way to move forward during this time of the last few weeks of June.
To finish, there may be for some, a sort of sad reflection about certain things which can never be, recognizing a piece of ourselves which require resolution, healing because of some loss or hard situation from the past.
All of these issues, confronting something we’ve put aside, forgotten about, a deception in the world, an untidy situation is coming to a head in some way, to finally face it, ask for its change, healing and transformation, to bring back vibrancy and power in one’s life and the world, again.
Mercury Retrograde
The Mercury’s role is to relay a message to you. It is in Cancer conjoining Jupiter, our planet of expansion and good things. Brightness of feelings, optimism and positive approach to any thing which has been unsettled, personal, home, housing, real estate, family issues, finances, security and protection issues, moral ethical standard issues (Jupiter’s role), any one of these would be a message very specific given to your outer mind. The time where an insight to address, embrace and act on something good for you to do or learn, would be between June 15th up through mid-July 2026.

June 26 Sun inconjunct Pluto
An adjustment of who said what to whom, who is the boss and who to follow or take instructions from could require adjustments. An inconvenient shift of plans might follow – a shift of authority, instructions or direction. Be flexible cooperative and go along with what seems naturally logical, regardless of any past mistakes or misleading.
June 26 -27 – 28 Mars sextile Jupiter
Finally, a dynamic constructive energy is surging around us now. This cycle is great for emotional connection, home, security and family good fortune. It’s perfect for getting together and having positive discussion, plans are productive, and a feeling of honesty and progress with sensitivity is strong. This astrology period is great for travel, learning, connecting and expansion of adventurous times.
June 28 Mars semi-square Hades
Slightly late on the 27th, through the 29th, Mars could trigger a particular irritation as it connects with Hades, but it’s only a semi-square. These aspects create a hint of irritation, without anyone realizing what you are feeling. Because we are entering into the Mars/Uranus in Gemini event on July 3 – 5, be careful what you say during this period, even if it seems justified.

July 3, 4, 5 Mars conjoin Uranus sextile Neptune
An exciting electric energy is in the air. Something unpredictable, unusual is happening on these dates, globally, maybe to you personally. It’s all around, the feeling of change, revelations, a new plan, a newness of facts, information and matter of fact revelations coming out. Something important is being launched on these dates. An announcement? It is definitely an event bringing an ideal future outcome to a place of possible reality!
