Friends, this post is quite long – We’re moving into a strange and mysterious process where multiple tasks are going to be required of us. One is the necessity to increase our higher ways, whether it is meditations, studying, body/health, or more rigorous spiritual events you desire to take on. Whatever it is you choose, we’re being asked to come up higher especially in areas related to our feelings, our love, and aspirations to feel we’re more receptive to those higher frequencies which are around us in abundance. Darkness is aware of this increase of Love through us, and escalating their shenanigans.
Other tasks such as our every day work, finances, relationship juggling, requires deeper discernment and efforts, as we move through Mercury and Venus in Scorpio for a few months. However, I believe this is a time when finally issues get resolved, and a new vision comes to us as to how to move into our future successfully. We have so many opportunities offered now, but as we navigate through the options and decisions each day, I believe, for some, it’s a time to purge and shake off challenging energies which have burdened many. Venus Retrograde October 3 at 8* Scorpio to November 13, 2026, at 22 * Libra
Part One
Venus retro occurs approximately every 17 – 18 Months.
Venus will be moving through Scorpio from October 3 – November 13, 2026. The power released during Venus retro is a rare energy.
It would be helpful to locate where you have Scorpio in your birth chart – then place Venus retrograde from 22* Libra to 8* Scorpio, into that house. Later, we can run through each of the twelve houses’ descriptions and how Venus might concentrate its healing transformative problem-solving energies into your life.
Venus will make a finger of God (YOD) with Neptune and Uranus – (see below)

All of us will experience these Venus themes, in some way – What does this mean?
The Power released through a Venus retro in Scorpio is rare energy. It releases Love into our life in a specific area. We feel it in our hearts as new priorities intensify what we now seem to value, care about. Venus enhances our need for a new experience. Venus also can target friendships, partnerships, anywhere where prior, love or connection is involved, Venus will increase our desire to go deeper and truer and more real with where we invest our heart, time, and energy.
It moves into our lives quietly, unexpectedly and alters something significant – one day we’re living this sort of life – values, etc.. The next moment, you’re opening up to a new path or circumstances which have an impact on your deeper needs.
It takes us from one state to a new state. Venus Retrogrades’ primary goal is to enhance the richness of our world, in some way. In Scorpio, it releases a death and rebirth theme, observing your life in some area reaching a peak or moment of desiring to confront address something – it could even be a state of mind, a mood, or lifestyle. It moves into your life step by step, offering you 1st this awareness, that conversation, this insight, that book or video – or idea – and finally leads you to an experience typically with choices of where to go to find a greater healing, support, love, friendship, or even financial/spiritual/work achievements.
By the time you are deep into the Venus retro in Scorpio, let’s say by October 9 – 20th, you could be in an entirely new frame of mind, involved in something uniquely inspiring, meaningful, purposeful… a re-prioritizing how you desire to spend your time.
Venus retro can fix things for us which have been tangled and complex – where prior to this time, you might have felt stuck and unable to solve. It can bring to you the right people, support, or can even help you separate out from something which is no longer, YOU.
Venus in Scorpio is like a fire secretly entering into your world, for a transformation within your feelings and experiences.
Sometimes you can watch it alter others’ lives who are part of your circle, because Scorpio can involve others’ relationship with you and/or their changes they’re making – what they are going through. You become more aware of their process, their situation, and needs. It is a selfless motivation, one of giving, releasing, transforming and powerful healing energy.
It supports, purges something within yourself which no longer fits in your personality. It can then bring a healing balm, a regeneration of more of your real self to the forefront.
Each time we experience a Venus retrograde, there seems to be an alternate dimension one enters into. It has the ability to alter things for your ultimate advancement, many times not predicted. With Scorpio, it would be deep, soulful, sincere. The old ways die. A transforming nature unfolds.
Venus in a YOD and Square. Two themes which can be tricky:
The first theme, the square to Pluto.
This one is the easier of the two. Something in the world, and/or in our own lives is coming to an end. Something you put much value into. It could be a project, a way of business, or even a personal arrangement. A situation which has come to a head, and can no longer be tolerated, is ending, or has worn out its purpose. Some will feel this much stronger than others. It’s a closure of some sort. It could take mid September through December to move through all the decisions, feelings or process of working through this decision and awareness.
The second theme, Venus inconjunct Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries, forming a YOD.
Here is the trickier of the two themes – a highly inconvenient scenario is playing out. It might compel you to take action to restore, preserve or invest yourself into something you DO value very much, (again, it could be a project, a person, financial or asset situation, a business or a path you need to walk) however, it is tricky – ridden with uncertainties, a risk, a bit volatile. There might be a Uranian temperamental energy surrounding this action you must move forward on – and a Neptunian mysterious nebulousness as to if it is even worth it. And yet, you must move forward with the logical course of action. We call this an Initiation. In spite of the fogginess ahead, and in spite of the instability or rocky challenges, we must trust in the ultimate plan. Scorpio is all about Trust.
Venus in Scorpio is counting on mutual efforts, mutual resources, gifts, support, financial generosity and giving to and from another, whether it is truly about money, work, caring, sharing, commitment or others, that’s the way to go and trust the process. It does not mean it is a positive time for signing legal agreements, contracts, marriage or otherwise….it could mean, however, you’re thick in the middle of the process of making these arrangements functional and correct. You must feel good about the future path, and everything must finally add up logically if you’re going to go legal, to that extreme of a commitment.
Venus may also represent what, whom we give our energy to, and these involvements may seem innocent, but are somehow influence. Along with Mercury retro (below) in Scorpio making interesting aspects it’s possible we are all coming to a point where we realize our energies need to be protected, and our attention, conversations, investigations and time spent on social media etc….are stealing away our precious time from concentrating on higher things which feed us at a crucial deep level. Just a thought.
This Venus YOD pressures us to get our ducks in a row, and ensure what we are investing ourselves in, is moving along in a fairly good way, in spite of the sacrifices and inconveniences occurring with Uranus and Neptune’s interference.
Now you can see why it would be helpful to discover where Venus in Scorpio/Libra retro, is active in your birth chart, as that would be the area (the house it is transiting through) which requires the greatest effort to have faith, trust and confidence in – in order to navigate around the challenges.
The second would be where is transiting Uranus? And where is Transiting Neptune?
(Neptune is at the bottom left of the wheel (chart) above, and Uranus is at the bottom right of the wheel above. Venus is positioned at the top.)
Below is the diagram of a random chart – the inner wheel is a persons’ natal planets, the outer wheel, is Venus, Uranus and Neptune making a Y to Venus at the top, in this case, in their 9th house. This would be the focal point, how and where the intense energy which represents this person’s complexity and pressure to achieve some important thing, is all funneling into Venus at the tip, for the highest choice or inevitable path to take. That’s what a finger of God, or YOD does for each one of us.
Venus is the focal point of transmutation and solution to the frustrations. I am hoping this assists you in navigating through an extremely important moment in your life, this October – November-and first half of December where decisions and performance of some sort, must be made! End of Part 1.

October 1, 2026 Part Two Mercury Retrograde October 24 at 20* Scorpio to November 13, at 5* Scorpio.
When we enter the period of a Mercury Retrograde, (approximately the 10th up to the 24th of October, insights pop into our minds we need to know.
There is a distinct shift within our attention. It is pulled in one consistent direction sometimes for days, reminding us to do this or that. Notice what new issue is on your mind, what has popped up you feel compelled to read, discuss, meet with a person to learn something or purchase or read or act on something. It should be some thing that continues to bug you until you take care of it. It requires communication, setting up a meeting, writing a report or letter, or digging to discover new information. Many times, with Scorpio, others must be involved as they are part of the issue. Even if it doesn’t seem doable, fixable now, the very process of laying it all out is part of resolving the situation and problem solving for a future solution.
Where Venus targets our feelings, social situations, and the things we consider of great value to us, which moves us such as relationships, finances, and other key valuable things – Mercury impacts our decision making process and impacts our thoughts in order to lead us towards an action, which we benefit from down the road.
When Mercury is afflicted, such as in a square, inconjunct or opposition, it still guides us, but possibly to be patient, or move away from pushing hard on achieving something. Some of you won’t have Mercury retro doing anything hard in your own chart – and that’s very nice. It will only guide you and help you. However, because Mercury is making difficult aspects to other planets in the sky – there is a theme of challenging times swirling around you’re determined to overcome.
Sometimes we become aware of a problem in which we should guard ourselves from something, pull away, such as in an opposition from Mercury retro to one of our own natal planets in our chart. However it affects you, it is helpful to take note of a standout event, insight – and I’ve only seen it help me. In these times especially, we need victories, we need insight, clarity and to be able to trust your insights. Each day is to be seen as one thing we did or became aware of, which advances us in some way.
Before we dissect this Mercury, know we are also having a positive powerful Venus/Sun conjunction exact on October 22 – 24 on the very day Mercury turns retrograde. This gives us a support for love, confidence and trust in our business, relationships, agreements, a project, an event or financial during a time when we’re also needing to think clearly and make decisions. It is as if an Angel of Love is placing a victory wreath around our necks promising our success, a kiss on the brow, (and maybe even a magical weapon for battle slipped into our hands) before we venture off into this strange storm.
Venus pours strength, love, and Scorpio Vision into our being to remind us of the desired outcome, to never forget why we are doing this, because as many of you know, anything in Scorpio has multiple layers attached to the one desired goal. And remember, Venus is active moving the chess pieces around for a positive outcome.
During this cycle, Mercury will go retrograde in Scorpio and aspect several planets:
#1. Mercury is only just beginning to turn Retro at 15* Scorpio on October 13 – 16th, just before it actually turns – as it begins to trine Hades at 15* Cancer, (Returns October 30 – November 1 while retro; and returns once more, after turns Direct on November 26 – 28.
Even though Hades (Uranian Planet) is not especially helpful in any way, this cycle could represent a deal with a compromising situation, where there are no other options.
In a global world scene, this could be a behind the scene arrangement, where darkness has warned, threatened, and pushed a particular desired outcome onto a leader(s) and that Leader, has no other choice but comply, or worse things will occur. The payoff is this leader(s) is giving carte blanche to implement many beneficial projects, launching positive activities which can lead to much progress for the people’s future, but this one action they decide upon seems to make no sense and feels wrong.
Multiply this throughout the world in micro versions, and we have a potential wave of manipulation attempting to bargain and threaten, and the receivers are complicit. That’s a trine with Hades. Question: could we personally be experiencing some version of this at this time?
AFFIRMATION

#2. Mercury Retro in Scorpio squares Mars in Leo at 0-4 degrees, September 30 – October 4 just before it turns retro, then returns in square to Mars again at 18 – 16* Scorpio on October 29- 31st ( to Mars at 16 – 18* Leo), and the third time on December 8 – 10 at 3 – 6* Sagittarius, square Mars from 3 – 6* Virgo) which by the way, Mars will also turn Retrograde mid-December through February 2027 in Virgo, from 0-10 degrees. So, from September 27th up through December 10, off and on there may be challenging news erupting over :
- Data and Analysis issues
- Content revealed which is challenging to take in
- Words, definitions and Mind/consciousness discussions, AI issues
- Votes and Election Decisions and its Process
- Tech and Business Projects challenges
- Documents revealed
- Exposures which increase tension
These areas would be impacted by the challenging Mercury Retrograde, and could bring out information which contributes to greater stress – there maybe serious finality of decisions made, adjustments with particular situations occur in order to handle global challenges we don’t like or agree with. It’s possible part of this is involving tech and equipment which provides data devices, AI, satellite technology, which relay gather and collect information. Serious decisions from global leaders or key figures which might have a crucial outcome for the future. All situations where layers of deceptions intrigue treachery bring wrong information and advice to leaders, those who hold power to act rashly. Leaders must have information given to them seriously verified now.
This square does not have to be negative yet releases a sense of hyper focus upon an urgent crucially key issue which must be attended to, because so much is riding on its reliable performance. Scorpio lends to an investigation, or detective work – depth of insight and observation – as if something is being observed intently. The square to Mars in Leo demands optimum performance along with individuals’ fame, performance, and leadership or presence in some way. It puts pressure on either that person, the activity, or the achievement of some glorious outcome. So, this Mercury square Mars intensifies urgency and attachment to an outcome, but the challenges would involve people who are acting impatience, angry, disruption of the outcome, the threat of interference, cruelty, meddling or an outburst of anger and impatience. The possibility of dealing with one’s ego and self-importance, or another’s ego and rash outbursts or harsh words.
AFFIRMATION

#3. As Mercury slows down and begins to move out of retrograde for a few weeks, it will then inconjunct Saturn in Aries from November 5 – 20th (Mars at 8-9* Scorpio inconjunct Saturn at 8-9* Aries) ( which was the exact same degree where Venus earlier turned Retro at 8* Scorpio end of September through mid-October).
This inconjunct means a highly inconvenient shift or adjustment suddenly is being made, someone is making the decision to change a plan in mid-course – and it can mess up a project or the smooth running of activity which we, others, were heavily counting on working. We want to dismantle, transform, and change this frustrating inconvenient period of glitching, something not working properly completely. It might be any particular thing on that list of Mercury (above) and expose the need to fix something, investigate or shift out of a particular direction. It simply adds to more inconvenience or frustrations.
Again, if not in our personal lives, these issues can show up globally in some public way. When Mercury turns Direct on November 13, it inconjuncts Uranus slighly, and squares Pluto slightly – causing more consternation on world decisions. all these issues tell me, we’re not very happy about the way things are going.

Synopsis
We have a hard Venus retro, and a hard Mercury Retro, end of September through November, waning in December.
This is running right through elections and compounded by a continuation of conflicts throughout the middle east and the world, including financials, gas prices, flow of goods, oil, etc.. all the strange events surrounding advanced tech and military equipment, AI et…This period will most likely NOT provide solutions, agreements, positive negotiations. Instead, more awakening and exposure to all of us, how complex this world is, has been and is increasing. It also forces several hard stands for particular leaders to take – non -negotiable posturing,(but for some, no choice but compromising in their minds) and highly inconvenient (the inconjunct to Saturn ) restrictions, all the way around.
Elections are testy – including the Venus retro, with disgruntled voters attempting to make changes by not voting for particular parties and individuals – thinking certainly, this will solve the problems or prevent more from happening….(Pluto square Venus retro)…
Mercury rules ballots, documents, information, leaked videos, conversations, and emails….Mercury
Mercury trine Hades, #1, tends to guide people’s decisions with an attitude, of “well, we’ve gone this far, or we’re committed this deep, we might as well continue with this arrangement as nothing else offered seems any better.” It’s making agreements and support not with the best options but appears to have a pay off that’s worth settling for, in addition to the above description of #1.
#2. Mercury Retro Square Mars is volatile, impatient, and dangerous. It can prompt sudden impulsive decisions based on one’s authority, entitlement, being the boss, or leader. There’s the potential for much arrogance behind these decisions, and a need for instant fixes and gratification. Not good in any testy situation where important things are riding on balanced minds and mature attitudes. Information which might clarify, bring truth, is not disclosed, as Mercury in Scorpio is secretive, hard information no one would dare disclose.
#3. Mercury retro inconjunct Saturn describes possible re-dos, regrets, re-thinking one’s actions, decisions, projects, commitments. Saturn is meant to be the planet of responsibilities. It causes grounding concrete plans and formidable actions, well researched and processed ideas. An inconjunct presents the necessity for an adjustment, a change of direction as the one didn’t work out so well. Sometimes, there might be a group/person or key figure in decision making, that made a wrong call, or not cooperating. There is a mishap, or lack of functionality or constructive practical and logical steps. So now, the in-depth researching and penetrating Mercury in Scorpio has to stop everything, go in and in dig to uncover the issue, re-step the actions taken, and adjust, shift, change a direction or course of action. It could require a RE-DO. It’s incredibly frustrating and time consuming.
By the time Mercury moves out of all these problems, which would be on November 20 at the earliest, hard lessons have been learned.
In addition, regarding elections, something weird is going on maybe, with voting numbers or tallying votes, accuracy, or a discrepancy…the worst-case scenario, would be or whatever reasons for instance, elections called off or postponed which seems far-fetched.
What can we personally expect?
Patience is definitely needed through this period when making decisions every day.It might be required of us all to do some research which we would normally not feel competent with. Several projects might be before you, and each one must be carefully thought through to feel good about the outcome you’ve chosen. The square to Mars in Leo might be the pressure to act on the information, and to settle, which would be mostly all right, however, are we settling just because any other option is worse? Or is it really the best we can achieve right now?
The inconjunct from Saturn in November might be a need for upgrading, or fixing, completing more of your projects and plans, and slightly expected, however the inconvenience wasn’t nice. Giving the Affirmations for the smooth operation of all things in your life, regardless of their expense, complication or otherwise, (taxing on your nervous system, time, energy, health) would be a positive power to use and works. Remain positive and optimistic, visualizing the desired outcome constantly – no matter what!

A bit agitating for decisions, observing details of data, or conversations, text mgs, emails. Our communications or our content, the processes required have some pressure around. Try to remain patient, not get too tied up with everything coming out perfectly right now. Our mind might turn to the negative, try to resist it.
October 1 – 2 Mercury at 2* Scorpio inconjunct Neptune
Concerns, fears, or worries could feel projected on the screen of our minds – it’s not the best time to get all caught up in mental concerns.
October 1 – 2 Mercury 2-3* square Pluto at 3* Aquarius
Challenges with deadlines, information which feels overwhelming create tension. Having to say difficult words or make hard decisions in general puts pressure on us to work with what we have, or work with challenging people, environments, or hard conversations. Not the best time between October 1 – 4 to sign contracts or deal with paperwork…again this isn’t for everyone, but a general feeling in the air on these dates swirling around. It can be very good for investigating, research and getting to the bottom of things, Pluto pressures us to dig and discover.

October 2 – 4 Mars in Leo oppose Pluto in Aquarius
Another Pluto challenge with Mars, feels a bit pressured, controlling, to cooperate with a situation which might not ultimately be what you want. Again, it’s time to take it easy and not push things too much.
Problems could arise with a feeling of opposition, interference, obstacles which feel overwhelming.
October 4 Sun oppose Saturn.
Another date where some restrictions and responsibilities are faced, yet a determination to uncover better ways to move forward with our attitude, our decisions, and creative energies. We want change, progress and a black or white perspective – Saturn could press us to finally get closer to solving something. We’re being shown a way.
October 3-4 Mercury in Scorpio inconjunct Uranus at 5* Gemini
An adjustment and change in our plans – first we were looking at it this way, now we see it another. New information might have changed your thinking. An adjustment with something might be necessary. Obligations and inconveniences could surround information, data, technology, phones, cars, computers, etc.. Conversations might feel one is never quite getting down to the truth or the best way to see something. Some inconveniences one might have to simply go through would be unexpected.
October 5-6 Mercury conjoin Venus.
These days feel better, relief, more relaxing and productive. Friendships are nice, problem solving is positive and it’s a good time for work/ finances/ meetings and submitting reports, documents or dealing with things you value.
October 6 – 7 Mars in Leo sextile Uranus in Gemini
Positive breakthroughs with conversations, good news, stimulating ideas and a reprieve from strange events which might have been going on for a while. Mars/Uranus changes the dynamics of our everyday mood, and our outlook on things. Everything is better, productive and we’re ready to engage, collaborate, agree. Kindness and goodwill come to us from others, or from us towards others, and there is a sense of generosity along with arrangements and plans made. It’s very nice spending time with friends, having stimulating conversations, exciting subjects to discuss. This could begin as early as the 6th and run through the 8th.
October 9 Mercury inconjunct Saturn
The obligations to take care of tasks, errands, or particular inconveniences come and go, and shouldn’t be too time-consuming. Try to remain open and flexible about unexpected issues popping up now. A bit of juggling schedules and arrangements could happen.
October 10 Venus in Scorpio square Mars in Leo
A bit of social tension can take place during this day. Is it an event where so much is happening, socially – it’s difficult to relax? Venus suggests quietly keeping opinions on oneself and presenting your best self in the midst of certain people or situations which could rub you the wrong way.
October 10 New Moon in Libra
A new beginning for relationships, arrangements and collaboration begins.
Support is given; a mood has changed. Jupiter sextiles the New Moon providing good will, helpfulness, and generosity. A level of assurance, competence and satisfaction can happen with our lives, and for many, helpfulness from others given.
It’s possible form some of us, better finances, treasures, gifts or things of value are more able to come into one’s life during this time, as Venus rules Libra, and Venus provides ease of some kind (plus it is retrograde, which emphasizes the process of preserving or working towards a greater ease of living in some positive way).
Mercury also conjoins Venus bringing progress for some mutual goal with others. The square from Venus/Mercury to the Mars and Pluto, requires persistence, trust, and faith that with ingenuity and pooling one’s talents and efforts together for an outcome – it will eventually come about.

October 13 Sun at 20* Libra sesquiquadrate Uranus at 5* Gemini
This day offers subtle insights into others in your life….hints and suggestions of how to best approach a subject, or through observations you discover something which must be handled. It might demand immediate attention, some practical action required. There could be a frustration or irritation on this day, attempting to accomplish something but seems to end up being more difficult than expected.
October 15 Sun sextiles Jupiter in Leo
A positive time between the 14-16th where cooperation, ease of effort with accomplishing something positive for this time. It’s a time for reaching success by expressing your opinion. With travel. Publishing or marketing something. Counseling, meetings and providing to another, insights they need to receive or you need to hear. In general, a good day for feeling positive and confident with yourself and life situations.
October 16 Mars trine Saturn
During October 15 – 17, productive events happen. Whatever effort you are putting into something, comes out fairly positive and productive. Life works, and anything involving programming or fixing, coding or technology will be successful. Progress is made. Any issue with health, healing, diet, exercise, medical analysis etc.. It is positive and brings some good progress. Work, employment and focusing upon one’s tasks and details of developing skills, is strong these days for successfully absorbing the information.
October 16 Venus inconjunct Uranus
On this day, a person/social situation is a bit out of sync – a conflict of ideas could happen. Frustration with something someone might way or reveal. A necessary shift or change of plans could happen. Be careful not to be too bold and penetrating with revealing things which were meant to be kept to yourself.
October 19-20 Venus square Pluto
This cycle is part of the Venus retrograde period from late September into December and plays out on and off throughout this entire time. It should be seen more like an umbrella we’re all working through, where some part of the way we’ve handled something, or put up with something which is no longer working for us, is coming to an end. The table below, are the strongest dates when we could be dealing with these emotional issues where we simply are done – we don’t want to deal with this any longer (whatever it is you’re facing). On the far-right column, you’ll see the words, Enter, Exact, Leave. That is the entire peak time it’s the strongest – the Venus enters the square, exact peaks, then leaves.
October 21 Venus inconjunct Neptune
A nebulous indirect message, confusing behavior, subtle message or someone’s suggestions, attitude, or situation – try to not pay too much heed as not only is it an indirect social awkwardness, but how could anyone decipher the meaning behind it? Try to discover what is expected, or someone’s need or intention so at least you’re clue in to what might be the motive behind some request.
October 22 – 24 Venus conjoins Sun in Scorpio – 0 degrees
A beautiful day for love, beauty, design, music, and spending time with special people. This is positive for some financial gain or gifts given, received, or something which makes you happy to be part of.
October 24 Mercury retrograde at 20* Scorpio
The entire Mercury retrograde is described at the top of this post. A time for going deeper with your work, with analyzing, content, writing, a decision regarding joining with others, or computer work, or anything involving financial decisions. It’s a touch and go period of navigating through Mercury retro in Scorpio, making sure you’re getting all your facts straight, or discover all your options, and situations are as close as possible to your expectations.
There can also be information you discover, which forces you to act and address it. The table below shows the most stressful dates to not sign anything or commit. What can happen, however, is enough evidence that is discovered or contemplated, so you feel it is inevitable to make a strong decision to deal with something, end something or resolve and confront. The solution to this period, end of September through early December, is to remain on task with one’s alignment with productive effort – whether it is your job, health, work, study – continuing projects diligently – yet as you can see, there are several moments where shifts are required, some major or minor change of direction, juggling financial and experiencing some continuation of energy which can feel intrusive and negative.
However, I feel we are in a time where a purge of some kind is directed into this heavy energy and is in process – I don’t know how, but something is being challenged, dismantled, stopped, or prevented from impacting people. I think it’s both technology and spiritual. This strange heaviness people have felt on them, has been reported to me for months now, and really escalated mid to late September. So, my feelings about the solution would be to come up higher with your self-rejuvenation, being around lovely people, those who align with your own values. For many, it’s a spiritual intense transformational period, as something important on other planes I suspect, is occurring on the earth, and people of light who carry naturally immense love and power of light, could be used positively as transmitters of this wave of light, acting as a purge of darkness, happening on the planet. I am taking this time of 2026, as a spiritual re-alignment, being absolutely compelled to step up our real connection to what truly matters and move away from so much external attachment to things.
