Full Moon in Taurus and the Venus Purge

How do I describe a moment when you can finally look back at the past months and take in a hard strange period, realizing you weren’t imagining it, something unusual just happened?
And how grateful I am, it’s over, thinking at one point, this might never end!…How would one moment, one day, suddenly move you from an uneasy dark time, to one of clarity and possibility of recovering your life? I almost don’t want to speak about it, in case I jinx it. Also, believing it’s you, only you feeling this and not realizing, it’s been the strangest period for a large number of people also. It culminated most intensely throughout September. My only conclusion, since there was also no reason to feel so challenged, no outer reason, is there has been a strong current of some form of darkness, attempting to interfere with our normal joy, connection with our real self and empowered creative living. Instead, people have shared they felt anywhere from being disconnected, not all here, disassociated or depressed. The worst, waking up with an anxiety and sense of looming doom about their life. The mental projections they fought against, were filled with worst case scenarios happening to them. None of these people had any real reason to feel this way, including me, and they could not locate a source of the dark energy.
As some may recall, we have been and are still, in an incredible period of acceleration into a new brilliant planetary cycle. One of greater freedom and advancement for our lives. The most extensive description of this wonder-time, is in the article Architects of a New World, January/February 2026, in the Library tab. And, I still absolutely believe this! This period is definitely waking people up.
This period in our world, is activating an integration with our Higher Self, permanently, and the opportunity to advance in our intrinsic worth and happiness. How you know it’s happening to you, is that you’re thinking a bit differently in 2026. You pause and observe more frequently how you want to look at an issue, how you respond to a person or situation, opting for a more tempered response. It’s very possible an Entity or Force out there, does not like this evolution of people of light, and has triggered a reaction, threatened this force or Entity which typically has everything to lose. It has used any means it can to damage, retard and interfere with this very unexpected evolving of a large community of people during this planetary time, this process of liberation for all of us. It’s hard I know, to wrap your mind around “A Force” actually having the power to harm consciousness – fortunately, only for a time. If you experienced it these past few months, it felt very real and was hard to shake off. Again there didn’t seem to be any physical outward reason for the dreadful energy.
I went through the past few months imagining, it must be me. Finally, by only increasing a tremendous volume of spiritual fire and light into myself and surrounding environment began to eliminate this projection of darkness, until recently, it broke. Only then (which is very typical for my process) did others begin sharing they have been under a similar disturbing burden, and not understanding why. Not everyone, but many.
I’ve come to the conclusion from, from where I stand and can examined, analyze, process and tested any way I could, trying to understand the source, and what shadow has descended during a time when not only all of us were to receive a magnificent astrological period, but my own planetary cycles too!….I’ve come to the conclusion, for not only myself absolutely, but for any who relate, we can no longer skim through our weeks without engaging in a stronger process to increase our own LIGHT, and veer away from distractions to this Light. However you increase your light, through affirmations, choice of food, committing to being outside and absorbing the light of the Sun, Prayers, decrees or reading your most inspiring books, your choice of music, friendships and key events to attend, it all matters more than any time I can remember. It’s also possible, this increase of Light saturating planet earth may have activated a purge within our own bodies and consciousness, triggering whatever unresolved karmic energies inside of ourselves? Whatever it was, I vowed to try to never go through this again. Some of you may not relate to any of this story, but for those who can, for whatever reason, we’re getting a loud and clear prompting to increase that empowerment now, and it’s coming right in line with Venus retrograde. Now I re-read the last Stardrops’ post with Venus, I once again, and amazed at this one planet’s ability to move swiftly yet silently into our world, and begin the process of solving a problem.
As we pull in and concentrate upon building a bonfire of intention and greater love, a greater conscientiousness within, the world mirrors and goes higher also.
I can see how this conscientiousness of greater intention and mindfulness each day, is going to reflect upon humanity. This strange period went on so long, I wondered if I would ever feel the internal empowerment ever again, but it took the effort, the work, invested in this transformational process, and of course, it just so happened to shift exactly as Venus began moving through all these dates activating not only my chart, but the other planets position described below. So as you walk through these dates I’m noting, beginning late September, now I look at what I wrote for you, I realize, those were the exact dates, moments, guidance and actions taken, when I began to shake this off, and move into my own battle mode, if you could call it that. So, let’s move on, and lesson learned, get through the rest of this month!
Planetary Cycles
Mars in Leo up to November 25
Mars in Leo intensifies courage, leadership, confidence and administrative creativity. It can inspire and motivate one to take charge of any area of their life. Venus and the Sun
October 18 – 28 Venus and the Sun at 2- 4* Scorpio inconjunct Uranus in Gemini, square Pluto at 3* Aquarius, and inconjunct Neptune at 2* Aries.
Venus retro, already began September 13 – 22nd. This period opened the door to discovering something crucial within ourselves that needs to be explored and for some of us, it’s like a puzzle we’re faced with solving. The entire cycle of this Venus goes from mid September through Mid December 2027. Venus began making its strongest theme, with a finger of God, September 13 – 22nd…. it’s back again for the 2nd time around right now. The September period was the start of Venus’ work on our lives.
The dates for the 2nd run are October 18 – 23 and the strongest dates will be felt on October 16th, 18, 19th, 20th. This 2nd time around, should be when we’ve already begun the necessary changes we needed to make and we’re now reflecting, re-enforcing it, processing it and accepting this is now how I need to live, or approach this situation.
There is one more strong cycle – December 5 – 10. This will be the completion of the entire experience and new awareness Venus has handed to you to assimilate throughout this particular Venus retro in Scorpio cycle. This is the rare Venus transformational healing energies, from September into December we’ve been needing so much and I’m wondering if for some, Venus in Scorpios’ ability to draw out dysfunction, interference, opposition to the goodness and progress, had to occur, almost as if it lured it out, in order to put it down, and destroy it.
I’m already astounded at the action Venus could have impacted our lives already – I couldn’t make this up. As I have moved through this period of Venus, many have come to me with a similar experience they have been feeling, building and building even as early as June, July, August and throughout September up into October.
Venus

The first release of Venus’ energy into our life was on September 13 – 22nd. And now we’re in phase two the deeper awareness for our change on October 18 – 28.
Venus square to Pluto
A situation or lifestyle, relationships or some way of life which has been simply tolerated or maybe even enjoyed, but is from the past – is ending.
Something in the world, and/or in our own lives is now going through a purge, a death and ending of that way – and it should communicate to you through your intuition, a feeling. It’s a preference changing from one state to a new state, a new set of virtues and values to an upgraded one.
Something you simply felt or behaved or lived like, is being highlighted as not good enough anymore, and many are returning back to something more meaningful now. It could be a path you desire to live, or project, a way of business, or even a personal arrangement. A situation which has come to a head, and can no longer be tolerated, is ending, or has worn out its purpose. Some will feel there was a lesson involved in it.
The second theme, Venus inconjunct Uranus in Gemini and Neptune in Aries, forming a YOD.
The YOD is made of two inconjuncts and are simply requiring us to go through a process in order to achieve the desired results we want.
It will definitely be an internal experience for greater joy, completeness and wholeness, but the outer representation should involve progress with relationships. It could show up also in business, projects, or finances. Some outer progress parallels the changes going on in your inner transformation.
The YOD, will require from us to take action to restore, preserve or invest ourselves into something we DO value very much, but it’s going to take work (again, it could be a sense of completeness, safety and wholeness you desire – on the outer, it would be a project, a person, financial or asset situation, a business or a path you need to walk) however. The work doesn’t mean working hard at your job – although that might be part of it, but work on your inner self. You are changing.
Many times a double inconjunct, especially towards Venus retro in Scorpio, has the ability to zero in on one final path which has to be taken, realized, accepted, as if we know, there simply isn’t any other way. It can break us, paint us into a corner or bring us to our knees in order to give up and surrender to the best most obvious way to get through this unhappy or frustrating futile situation.
Venus may also represent what, whom we give our energy to, and these involvements may seem innocent, but are somehow bringing upon us, a negative influence. Along with Mercury retro in Scorpio also occurring, making interesting aspects it’s possible we are all coming to a point where we realize our energies need to be protected. Our attention, conversations, investigations and time spent on social media or particular lifestyle choices, etc….are stealing away our precious time from concentrating on higher things which feed us at a crucial deep level. We need greater security, assurance and peace more than anything else right now, and Venus is trying to get us there. Through a unique mysterious awareness repeatedly altering our feelings and intuitive nature, we finally realize, what needs to change now in order to achieve this peace. This is not just Venus, but the YOD acting.
Venus is the focal point of transmutation and solution to the frustrations in the YOD. I am hoping this assists you in navigating through an extremely important moment in your life, this October – November-and first half of December where our life preferences will undergo an amazing transformation and purge.
The Sun joins this Venus adding vibrancy and vitality, a healing, restoration in our life in some form, on October 24 – 28th. and this period will enhance the full power of healing within our life. The vitality of the Sun, its warmth and radiance merging with the October 18 – 28th Venus cycle, brings good fortune and solution, hope, encouragement and the right way of looking at thing for our own peace of mind and resolve.
So, this is the Sun/Venus retro and we’ll have one more Venus cycle in December, (December 5 – 10.) then we’re finished with whatever it was Venus wanted us to assimilate, change and repair.
Mercury turns Retrograde October 23-24 to November 13.
The quick description of this period would be we’re all being pressured to organize, transform, purge and eliminate stress, unessessary things cluttering our minds and nervous systems. Mercury is an intelligent pressure put upon us to acquire information, deal with important decisions, attend meetings, possibly documents are involved, figures or finances, handle conversations where negotiation or cooperation could be a priority. Possibly even reviewing and refining projects, data, systems and/or technology. Important appointments could be required during these times between now up through November 13.
October 29 – 30, Mercury squares Mars This period is a bit more urgent and intense, especially for work, projects and our minds. During these days, a super charged pressure to address tasks, make decisions and become determined to take care of business can occur. This cycle isn’t the best for a Mercury Retro,
October 30 – 31 Mercury trines Hades creating an attitude, to agree or accept a decision which might not be the best, but it’s better than nothing. On November 1 the Sun inconjuncts Mercury, causing a shift, adjustment and unexpected inconvenience personally maybe and globally defintely. An inconvenience, a shift and major adjustment made, a decision made, which could disrupt important plans…– then swiftly moving towards a conjunction to the Sun peaking and on November 3- 4, 2026 it conjoins exact the Sun. This final energy, is a culmination of decisions made which have a Scorpio nature to them, issues with complicated data, etc…for more explanation, please review the past Stardrops, HERE> These Mercury connections are occurring in Scorpio, like Venus, and both are expecting some form of surrendering of something, letting go, and a surge of will to transform life, bring a death to an old way, and invest our energy into something better.
The Full Moon in Taurus
Our Full Moon brings us to a major culmination of the past weeks, where many have gone through a purge, or a reality check in their lives. Now, this Full Moon might tell us, our Taurus worth of ourselves, soul, presence, life (or work, love, money, job, finance) the greater truth of why we matter, and how we’ve been wounded or frustrated in that very area over the past weeks (or maybe months?) is now at its fullest moment, spilling over into many things we are now noticing and want to change
This full moon, has a broad array of issues – our personal inner self, why am I or have I allowed myself to lower my worth, value of myself, my self respect, self care, looking out for myself in such a way as to allow certain undesirable things to take place or occur???? What is this about??
Well, this is not only because Taurus represents our Treasures, what we love, value and our worth ( many times money, job, skills earning power, but ultimately it’s ourselves)…and, it’s conjoin Chiron in this Full Moon moment. Chiron has a slight influence of being wounded, compromised, frustrated. So we’re at the point where we are seeing it all so clearly, from our past or however far back we need to see, and be determined to let that part of ourselves go into a fire, burn it, walk out of it, and know, we are now in a new life, It’s true. We are in a new life, with new standards, a new intelligence – which is what Venus has been trying to fix and bring for us recently.
See below, the Full Moon in Taurus, conjoin Chiron -in house #11. See how it’s the old self, and we’ve just about had it – we’re done with that Chiron compromising our worth – (or whatever, love money work, business, etc..) and see how it is positioned in the OPPOSITIVE PLACEMENT of Venus and the Sun in Scorpio in house #5? Basically, this Full Moon is the moment when we’re experiencing the emotional acceptance of our new determination to move into a higher quality of life, but not without allowing some situation go through a death of some sort – like saying goodbye, ending something, realizing we can’t move forward with an important self care, without leaving behind another thing – (the square to Pluto in the 8th house).
Even though these themes may not seem like Epic astrological cycles, trust me, they are key for our progress, completion and growth. I have been looking forward to the Venus retrograde for months, and the very fact it’s lining up almost exact with the next Full Moon in Taurus, our old stubborn worn out behavior, habit or lifestyle, is what we might just need to surrender, as we move towards the New Venus Way. And, the most important part, in Scorpio, it always requires trust.
For the more spiritually inclined, a purge of darkness and moving more towards increasing the Light within our Souls, ( with a sense of urgency I must add), has been the ultimately number one priority during these time recently. This has been in order to exorcise if I may use that term, the rising dark energies which have increased and are reacting to all the growth and progress we have been experiencing.
