New Moon in Virgo Nurturing from the Divine Mother
Hello everyone! We are focusing on the the practicality and nurturing guidance of the New Moon in Virgo starting August 23rd. which represents a new cycle launched for us all. It can inspire us to take practical action (since it is an earth sign) towards our own needs. Think back a few weeks ago, culminating August 20 – 24, and you are in the peak of these cycle. It lasts for a few weeks. This New Moon is set in motion, and is focusing upon enhancing our own needs, to nurture ourselves in some way. We could look at this New Moon as a release of the nurturing fertile qualities of the Divine Mother via Virgo, pouring into our life situations in order to help us progress.

Let’s explore the major theme going on with the New Moon today. Remember, Uranus the planet of unexpected change and surprises, is also in square to this New Moon, creating an element of surprises occurring in the world which must be considered, as soon as they erupt. It could be anything, and many things.
Globally, we could be witnessing a new beginning with all areas pertaining to Justice. With the New Moon in Virgo, matter of facts, decisions made which involves (Mercury in Leo, ruling Virgo) famous people in the public eye. The square to Uranus instigates sudden events out of nowhere, the public needs to adjust to. Unexpected out of left field incidences, exposures, or revelations. Should we also be wary of this going on at some point in the next few weeks in our own personal lives?
Pluto is in an awkward disjointed angle to the New Moon and had been in an opposition for the first two weeks of August to Mercury. Pluto inconjuncts the New Moon on one side, and Saturn Neptune inconjuncts the New Moon on the other side.
These angles from two powerful planets are lending to disappointment and frustration with any attempt to utilize and embrace the New Moon’s power at this time…however…
They create a finger of God configuration, which means, regardless of the appearance of unresolved justice, discernment, proper intelligent decisions made, and also one higher Whatever big news regarding justice, courts, rulings, or any other issues which require examination and targeting unresolved situations will now be brought to light and possibly for several of them, decided upon. The element of Pluto involved in this inconjunct brings particularly exasperating actions (building for a while) from one singular global situation which is not logical and productive for everyone involved. And yet a behavior continues with this particular person/situation which is simply not smart for them, and the Moon in Virgo wins out.
So regardless of the actions made which appear to be not the best decisions and determined to take a particular path regardless of whether it is logical or not, The Power of the New Moon at 0* Virgo moves on with a strong plan for functionality, practicality, positive deductive reasoning in the following areas of the world.
Who and what is representing this New Moon? Any one activity happening now which may not be a perfect path to take but is the best option at this time.
PERSONAL
Aries – The New Moon requires Aries to adjust and yield at this time to a greater logical and more functional path to take. You might feel you are sharing your projects with others who have a slightly foreign or different approach to reaching goals, and so you are working alongside these individuals, in order to reach the ultimate practical outcome now. It is a moment of shifting and adjusting one’s energies now, to align with a higher more logical game plan. Areas of service, support and helpfulness may have also been part of your past few weeks’ tasks, an exciting period of change, acceleration towards practical functionality and fairness, efficiency and higher levels of service reached for everyone. The trick is to keep telling yourself “Even though I might not be in full control, I AM always valued, seen and play an important role in the process.” Affirmations assuming you are still a necessary viable person in any one given situation, regardless of the changes being made, would be extremely helpful to give during this time!
Taurus – The New Moon in Virgo will support your material/work/tasks much more easily – and has been building for a week or so. Helpful events can happen around you to provide a win for your money, functional daily projects, and responsibilities. A new look at your diet, food, body/health and also work, is constructive. Financial opportunities, analyzing extra income projects and caring for your net worth, your assets, your body, and family should be empowering and available to achieve, starting now. A new start at trusting your plan of action involving increasing your worth and value, in order to finally create and draw to you the lifestyle you truly want, is happening now.
Gemini – The New Moon in Virgo has you in a bit of a conflict with health/nerves or functionality for a bit, where inevitable tasks and things just had to be handled, in spite of your personal preferences.
Details regarding work related issues, or health, body, immune system, and diet/food issues must be obeyed. Obey your intuition and insight as to how to move forward for your greatest wholeness, even if it takes more time, or you are concerned about money, budgeting, or possibly the necessity for setting up some form of savings or something practical. Do not mess with your immune system or health during this time. Try to integrate these into your every day schedule for a few weeks now. Go ahead and act on the practical responsibilities, as they will pay off in the future with a full harvest of abundance and freedom from worries.
Cancer – The time for connecting, planning, and arranging meetings, family get-togethers, friendships and events is now. The New Moon gets all the details down. Your emotional need for closeness, certainty and safety should be fairly good, and if for some reason you are not seeing that occur, is it possibly your Cancer feelings might not be seeing situations as positively and practically as you could? Could this New Moon be helping you be a bit more objective and practical towards the people around you, and practice not taking it so personally? Take the time to slow down, and make your conversations, your time spent with others, about their life, their feelings, or issues. Try to remove your own involvement with them and make it about their situation. No matter what they might say or act like, your helpfulness will make a big difference….so stop worrying!
Leo – Leos work well with Virgo energy as it helps them get down into the details of their plans. Whether it is personal self-care, design, children, education, style, and appearance, or simply fueling their careers with greatness, the New Moon enhances the fine points of how to truly achieve your ultimate end goal during this time.
It is an excellent time for looking wonderful, and for taking any one relationship to a deeper and more meaningful level.
Anything related to fashion and clothing appearance and looking great, will be enhanced by this New Moon in Virgo.
New inspiration regarding work will bring a positive adjustment to the way you work, or with whom you work . You are focused, desire better efficiency and are losing tolerance for sloppiness or unprofessional behavior.
Virgo – Regardless of the timing, your schedule, how you feel or what you have going on, you now have to shift and move forward towards a positive destination. These next steps could be one thing on your mind, or several separate projects and agendas. Some personal adventures, some professional adjustments, and upward movements. Realize, nothing right now is perfect yet, everything is just perfect. Work, health, family, love, and your own body needs are all a factor. “I’m adjusting this in my life so I can achieve XY A& Z, “ etc….
This is a power cycle for you Virgo, a new beginning of something exciting, which opens up your mind to new opportunities and confidence in yourself. Libra – New Moon in Virgo, gets you in discussions of massively focused and productive projects. You could have several go8ng on for you at this time. The Virgo New Moon instigates action required in order to accomplish these things and there can be a few annoying situations however, which require patience. Regardless of not always being in sync with others or dealing with one large inconvenience of a person’s difficult attitude, don’t worry about it too much, simply clear your schedule, uncomplicate your life, and concentrate on what YOU really want to get done, successfully and satisfyingly now. There may be a strong impulse to act in a relationship situation, with exactness, a sense of fairness and detail out a plan. This New Moon does denote a new beginning for you, to feel a greater peace, order, and sanity in your world now.

It might be time for a personal self-care trainer, nutritionist or anyone who can inspire and increase your power even more during this cycle, as New Moons are to be for a new start in your life which is functional, practically useful and helping you reach a destination you might otherwise feel too busy to focus on.
Aquarius – You are shifting and adjusting to some new people in your life, your job, or your everyday tasks….Something is changing a bit – and accommodating another schedule, another person or even just a way of looking at the future could be happening to you now.
The combination of Virgo and Aquarius is called an inconjunct – two signs which many times appear incongruent – one desires inspirational improvement and higher vision of future progressive truth and acceleration – whereas the Virgo wants to analyze it, prove its functionality and concentrate upon all the tasks, errands, steps, and details required.
At this time, adjust and yield to the New Moon’s practical path opening up for you – is it a new job – a new position? Is it a new view of your future? All seems oh so inconvenient when all you desire is freedom! Make the adjustment and keep focusing upon the functionality and practicality of the situation, and you will get through this change okay.
Pisces – The New Moon is pulling you now into a practical down-to-earth path, so walk through that door of reasonable earthy consistency. It might be about an arrangement with another, or bracing yourself for a new cycle beginning now, which will not be ideal, yet you’re yielding to the others’ practical needs.
This cycle could also cut ties with someone who is not helpful for you but instead dragging you down into that murky foggy ambiguous world they live in, where not much is reliable, makes sense or is consistent. You require order, consistency, a schedule you can count on, so work with others who have that kind of support, and don’t forget to make time for your own body, soul, and health now.
These New Moon cycles will last a few weeks , beginning August 23, 2025, however, many of the situations covered here, could be a new life situation and decisions which take you to a higher way of life and practical useful living for yourself and others. August 23 – 24 New Moon inconjunct Saturn and Neptune and inconjunct Pluto
Discussed above forming a Yod – the 23rd, 24th a few days of being sort of out of it – adjusting to a new condition in your life yet continuing to be focused and functional.
August 24 Sun square Uranus – Regardless of how you feel, you may need to handle the unexpected involving others.
August 25 – 26 Venus enters Leo, trines Saturn and Neptune, sextiles Uranus and oppose Pluto. This can be a lovely day for social connections, meetings, catching up and indulging yourselves. Every once in a while, we need a break, spend time with people who care, and do something fun.
August 26 – 27 Mercury inconjunct Node Some inconvenience might occur in some way – different than what you expected. You might be feeling a bit of fatigue at the end of the day – or slight consternation about a situation.
Uranus sextile Neptune exact August 28 – yet we have been in this all August 2025.
Uranus in Gemini sparks objectivity and a push to break old patterns, urging change and progress. From August through September 5 (peaking August 28), its sextile to Neptune supports breakthroughs in areas tied to ideals, vision, and higher purpose. My feeling is it is becoming more obvious to some, a higher intelligent power, their Higher Self, is operating in their lives in spite of their own ego’s mental expectations or need to be involved in their daily affairs. In other words, the veil is thinning between the higher dimension where this omnipotent Presence resides, and our own lower earthly world. This lends to greater perfection, certain things in our lives, just working out, in spite of our worries, concerns or attempt to control it.
This connection blends Uranus’ innovative, higher-mind energy with Neptune’s intuition, compassion, and divine love. Together, they open channels between science and spirituality, logic, and faith, making it easier to trust the unseen and align with higher guidance.
This cycle acts like a “supercharge,” helping you combine clear awareness with spiritual trust so your goals can take form in the physical world. It’s an invitation to harness these planetary energies for transformation and inspired creation. Even though there is one Epic moment this August/September for this cycle to engage us, it will return on the following dates in our future:
