Planetary Cycles for March 9 – 31

Welcome to Stardrops. Our planetary themes are targeting only a few planets throughout March, but they are crucial for re-aligning our attitude and thoughts towards serious productivity! Enjoy this month’s cycles, and I look forward to running a second report on Global Issues, tomorrow, hopefully released by Tuesday night, March 10.

March 10 Venus sextile Pluto A time for constructive meetings, sharing and rolling up one’s sleeves and getting down to work. This day involves useful yet pleasurable activities. Design, beauty, and positive times shared with others you value.

March 12-13 Mars conjoin Node This Mars cycle highlights a February – April theme for accomplishing the desired outcome which for many deals with an important feeling inside. That moment we all desire when an internal conviction and will for action merges with the inspiration and vision of making something in our lives better. But not only the inspiration, but the actual action taken to begin the walk for making it happen. It can feel like a switch flipped and one’s mind is now more focused and ready to produce results.

Mercury Retro Themes

Reminder – Mercury retrograde which began February 26 – March 25, has been emphasizing all things Pisces. Health, medical, ideal visions and dreams one desires to achieve. Hope, causes, missions. It emphasizes spirituality, clarity for reaching an ideal, increased faith and belief. It can assist with any thing we’re attempting to put our faith and will behind, and align with a cause. For some, the downside of Pisces can sour the outlook on the world or one’s personal life situations. Jaded and cynical, an attitude of What’s the Point Trying…could continually insert itself into the mind.

On the other hand, such a fluctuation between editing one’s world, versus shooting for an ideal outcome, could lead creative genius types into heightened scientific breakthroughs right now. Engineering, physics, innovation, energy inventions, survival issues, preparedness, focusing upon devices, machinery, medicine or other higher end activities challenge the mind to solve puzzles in the times we are in now.

March 15 Mercury retro conjoins Mars (January 18 began up through April 20, 2026) Especially on these days, our minds are highly strategizing, organizing and busy executing plans with a theme throughout most of February through April. It began January 18 – up to April 20.

This theme of Mercury conjoin Mars is incredibly astute, as we’re attempting to accomplish something important to us, some thing we are sick and tired of dealing with. Maybe it’s something that has been building up for months or years. We’re trying to juggle options, intellectually examine the ultimate outcome, but faced with messy complexities. Now it is time to tackle it, lock in and go to war with that issue once and for all. It’s an energy which ignites our intelligence within to bring something into the physical we really need now – and how we know something should be. Conversations, arrangements, appointments and important meetings take place with help, offers and opportunity to make progress. Just remember in making decisions, usually, we can’t have it all! Find the best course of action, even though it’s not perfect, and just go for it!

A time for reaching out to others, staying in touch, exchange of ideas, information, and nurturing our bonds with friends. This cycle has to do with communications, networking, staying connected, no matter what. It can also be a time for taking in hard news, research, examining all the themes running through society at this time. Money, power and disturbing information and conversations could be reviewed. Personally, it’s time to take stock at what you have, who are your friends and close allies, join forces and become unified with similar values, goals and future outcomes you desire for your lives.

For Love and Personal goals, it’s a positive time to invest in your most important relationships. Open oneself up to those whom you really trust, and have known to be reliable.

Mercury lines up on the North Node, providing strong mental abilities for making important decisions with our social community futures, our finances, our ultimate priorities we value…. how we are to achieve long term goals. We want to be aspiring to a higher ideal of how something should be, look or be accomplished now and in the future. It is a productive cycle.

It’s good for health, reaching goals for one’s medical, health energy, diet and nutrition, but mainly, taking in the trends of society, what’s truly happening globally, information we are taking in, and re-aligning ourselves to what is truly important.

February 16 – April 3, (peaks February 16, March 8, April 3, 2026) Mercury retro/direct in Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer.

This cycle has our minds concentrating upon all things security, food, home, domestic, national protection. Mercury retrograde creates a hyper focused energy upon an issue in your life. It’s as if something is trying to slow your extraneous activities way down, and cause you to target one theme right now. As it does this, an extremely effective action in yourself will increase. Mercury will reach out to Jupiter and gain momentum for achieving this vision you may have for greater security, financial stability, work plans, order and efficiency.

Jupiter enhances expansion, success, opportunity to feel “Now is the time, something can be accomplished or begun, launched during this period, that will help my life in an important way.”

Jupiter deals with standards of living. What we culturally want to have around us, feel like and enjoy. Think of anything providing security, stability, comfort, order, making progress, giving oneself a break.. Take any one of the activities written above, and now we include our expansive Jupiter to enhance and multiply its benefits and outcome. It can add an element of achievement and opportunity for you to even get something out of the way. Comfort, home, finance, domestic, as Jupiter is still moving through the zodiac sign Cancer, all these activities could all be part of this stream of protection and support. Think for a moment what has been on your mind since late January, all through February, working out your priorities, involving what’s been going on in the world, how you may have decided to position yourself, shield yourself or family, job security, important projects successfully completed – then moving on into March. Begin the steps to achieve certain inspirations which have been settling in your mind for a while.

March 18 Venus square Jupiter

This date could have us dealing with a mild conflict between our belief in how something should be, our attitude and anothers’ perspective on things. Conflict of values, ways of handling something, or a breakdown in a social cooperation between people accomplishing something. It’s not terribly serious, yet a bit inconvenient. In a more serious way, this square might indicate a person who might not be resonating with your ultimate values for your future, and should reconsider if they are truly part of your team in life.

March 18 Sun sextile Uranus

Innovation, creativity, originality, independence and self sufficiency. Good fortune for making independent decisions. Maintaining your autonomy, freedom and independence. It is also positive for your body goals, house goals, family and security needs.

At the same time, as we are having the bit of social relationship conflict above, our creative work is successful. An innovative plan works out. People can eventually get a project done and feel good about an outcome. It is a time for feeling creative, free to experience something meaningful, and to speak truth.

Mars trine Jupiter, February 16, March 8, and March 21 Mars trine Jupiter Similar to the theme of Mercury retro trine Jupiter, Mars adds to the expansive raising of standards in one’s life, open hearted, friendly and purposeful, yet now there is that dynamic thrust of will and determination which comes from Mars in full action. Mars energizes our bodies, our mind and spirit to really commit to a thing, and bring it into the physical world.

The month ends with the Sun lining up with Neptune and Saturn, sextiles Pluto. March 22 Sun conjoin Neptune; March 25 Sun conjoin Saturn; March 25 Sun sextile Pluto; March 28 Saturn sextile Pluto

Our Saturn/Neptune fusion which began in February, resetting our self image, personal belief in who we are, what we are personally and as a community, is now infused with the authority to act on these remembered truths about ourselves in the last few weeks of March 2026. The Sun lights up this self image re-set. The Sun brings Royalty, Divine Right, Will and Self Respect. It enhances our goals and inspirations with an even greater ability to make something wonderful, operational or advance in some way. The combination of this energy with the Mercury retro themes, truly provides the will and opportunity for you to stay determined and focused with matching your environment, yourself, your finances, work, home, etc.. with an ideal image as to how you know it should be. It is positive for confident executing of your affairs.

If we take all of these energies we have at our disposal, along with the planetary alignments discussed in the 2026 article (Architecture of a New World), what is left to tackle are global obstructions and forces whose attempts to interfere with the great positive energies we have been and will continue to experience throughout 2026. In addition, our own subconscious and inner sabotaging, which could very well be what many of us are finally tired of, in this February/March Mercury retrograde theme!
