The main theme which inspired me today was Uranus in Taurus sextile Saturn and Neptune in Pisces. I plan on writing a full description of just Saturn conjoin Neptune in Pisces for 2025 soon, as it is not quite conjoining yet. But the Saturn/Uranus relationship is going to advance all of us in some functional and productive way in regards to our important future plans. More about this aspect, below. I see this 2025 as a golden opportunity to utilize our energy, innovation, self motivation and willingness to work with key people right now in our lives, to get where we want to be by the end of the year. For now, let’s explore the next few week’s planetary cycles.
Planetary Trends
April 19 The Sun moves into Taurus until May 20.
This cycle brings us a more grounded functional attitude. It brings us back to basics. It is good for physical work, engineering, physics, our income, money, gardening, construction, our bodies, health and physical fitness. It is a great time to begin a 30 day challenge for yourself in some area where you are ready to reset.
Uranus at 26* Taurus sextiles Node at 26* Pisces (started April 10 – May 15, exact May 1, 2025)
Uranus is like a revolution of new ideas and brings powerful news and revelations for open discussion. It advances our thinking. Uranus our planet of innovation, truthfulness, higher ideas and insights, breakthroughs has been sextile the Node. Globally this cycle is good for economic change for the betterment of humanity. It has a nature to uplift, transform and upgrade via discussion and exposure, society needs to take to the next stages of greater freedom efficiency and productivity. Uranus involves space, technology, flight, air travel. It involves speed, overcoming all forms of outworn systems, Uranus inspires innovation with movement, tearing down old outworn limiting and degrading routines or technology, engineering or even financial activities. Our money, global economy and many times, Uranus rapidly thrusting us into the bizarre and unthinkable truths. Sextiles mean it is information and ideas being discussed, presented and inviting collaboration and working in a team. Because Uranus rules Aquarius, and we are officially in the Aquarian Age, it enhances all things Atlantis come again for the world.
Personally, it can be a great time to analyze and research how to upgrade your life, body, routines, business or work. It impacts positively finances, your professional goals, and more than anything, receive a strong wave of hope and excitement, Your life could change for the better, in a few particular areas. You are changing, growing and advancing in some important way and so is the world. This cycle opens the door for greater vision and exciting possibilities for the future!
April 16 -23 Venus conjoin Node at 25* Pisces and sextile Uranus at 25* Taurus
Venus, the planet of love, relationships, our worth as a human being, our values and what our hearts put importance upon in this lifetime, activates the Node – which stimulates a great idea! A motivation to take stronger clearer action towards something worth our time. It sextiles the planet of technology, Uranus, such as applications, software, innovative science or math.
These planetary positions can also stimulate collaboration with new friends, or people who are reaching out and desire to spend more time with you. It can stimulate interviews, conversations or meetings, appointments with people who are impersonally helpful and advanced in some way, objective and honest, supportive in order to get ahead with some area of your personal life. The Venus on the Node sextile Uranus can also be good fortune in some form, with money, income or future income you have in mind. Literally it can connect you with honest trustworthy people who are all about truthful exploration of subjects, advancing your mind a bit, so you can better understand what you need to move on with reaching goals.
April 10 – 28 Venus conjoin Saturn from 24-26* Pisces
Venus is our planet of love, bonding with special people, nurturing relationships and connecting to those things in our life which are our lifeline to internal value, happiness and our worth as a human being. It has been conjoining Saturn since January 17, 2025 (see table below) and has been running a theme of hard tenacious work, concentration, self discipline and a drive to study, focus, or commit to a new attitude, a new business?
A new mastery over some tech, subject? Skill? Something we need to become familiar with and incorporate it into our new way. Venus conjoin Saturn helps us adapt and become better skilled with something important for our development, income or goal we have in mind. Venus retrograde, once again, has been looking out for our welfare, no matter how challenging this cycle has been.
For some, it might even be a relationship commitment, or facing a reality regarding a relationship. Whatever it is, it helps us truly digest the totality of another person’s consciousness or life situation, their behavior or psychology, so we now truly understand how to better position ourselves.
April 17 – 22 Mars at 29* Cancer to 1* Leo trine Neptune at 0* Aries
The driving motivation of Mars is to maintain our personal security, our safety, home, family and emotional needs and is locking into the idealistic planet Neptune. It inspires us to reach for a higher purpose, a need to reach the stars, to feel we can make a difference.
An emotional need is behind this yearning. It is a pure motive we can experience, to accept and embrace personal security, personal needs met – and maybe look out for others in some form of spiritual, psychological or sacrificial way now. This cycle brings movement and progress with our future dreams for experiencing something personally meaningful, maybe money, home, family needs, domestic or inspiring towards our own personal well being.
It has been activating these themes in our lives since October 28 2024 (see table below) and has been a strong drive for releasing the game plan and requiring much effort on our part, to make huge steps towards security for our lives in some way. It is global and personal.

April 7 – May 2 Exact April 21 – Saturn conjoin Node at 26- 28* Pisces
Saturn/Node challenges tend to slow down business. They cause restrictions, limitations, the need to budget, spend less or reflect on a new discipline involving some sort of restriction of spending, eating, food, purchasing, volunteering or work. Saturn in conjunctions and squares especially, forces us to take an accounting of what we’ve done so far, sizing up our accomplishments, create a baseline of reality in our lives, businesses, health or relationships. Are we being accountable, realistic? Are we being responsible with the key areas of our lives?
For a short time,the planetary energies from Saturn make us reflect upon some area of our lives which needs work. It’s time for a reality check. This cycle has been building and building for a few weeks now, and has come to a head. This will only occur once, so it should be enough of a jolt to get us back on track again with our lives. Possibly, what we truly value the most will be the place for greater work and focus. We need a goal to reach with this Saturn, then stick to the routine and realize that goal in a short amount of time.
April 4 – April 22 Saturn at 24-25* Pisces sextile Uranus at 25* Taurus…

This cycle of Saturn and Uranus is the strongest theme we are now in
It combines the pragmatic engineering, discipline and of course, strength of Saturn, with the idealism of design and vision of Neptune in Pisces, both sextile Uranus, the Aquarian Age planet. It advances our civilization. Saturn assists in the timelines for executing of technological projects now. This combo basically takes us into futuristic exotic tech and physics, sweeps away restrictions, red tape, bureaucracy and interference, and blows open wide the doors for all to enter the future.
From April 4 2025 on through 2025, This year will be remembered for scientific and high physics advancement, mathematical and space innovation, never before seen engineering, truth and revelations to explode in our world. Expect greater acceptance among those who may have been resistant towards previous advanced civilizations existing, and openness to exploring never before discovered relics or engineering within hidden places on earth. Sextiles with Uranus provides honesty, cooperation, networking with all types of genius types, who share similar visions as to how, why, when and where we would need these technologies. Our lives are about to change with this cycle.
Another point, it would be much more likely these planets could also open discussion on facts and data regarding any potential dangers to our planet, such as cataclysmic situations, and involve humanity in the preparation or prevention of actual truthful issues regarding these possible dangers. Saturn plans practically, and Uranus uses science technology, advanced inventions providing new sources of energy. It creates an atmosphere for truth and transparency, objectivity without agendas.
The Neptune’s involvement puts an emphasis upon the architects for the future. However, this planet is tricky, as Neptune conjoin Saturn commits to the seemingly impossible, and desires to believe in the highest best outcomes. The problem can be poor judgment with whom we entrust to be involved in these innovations. With Uranus’ help, it will force Neptune to stay on track with integrity and objectivity when it comes to exotic technology and the best minds for whatever comes. Advanced energy systems replacing archaic energy resources and getting humanity off dangerous forms of energy would be a huge part of the planning under this sextile. We would desire to share the technology with other countries. This is the nature of Uranus sextiles.
You can experience good fortune under this sextile in the areas of your life where Saturn and Uranus are orbiting. It will be a great time for collaboration with smart helpful people who can problem solve with you.
There should be a functional element involved, where important projects actually become realized in the physical! They help you handle a truth, how to move forward with a plan in order to get something important established in your life especially beginning this April, all through 2025. April 19 – 21 Mercury at 2* Aries sextile Pluto at 2* Aquarius
All areas of communication, expressing yourself such as in a meeting, a discussion, writing a paper, an artistic expression such as an art piece, a musical piece or production, can be extremely positively enhanced and well received during these days. It is a time when our minds are tuned into a higher inspiring desire to think better, more objectively, brilliantly. Discussions or sharing insights with others are also highlighted with honesty, collaboration and reaching a positive conclusion. Sales, negotiations, paperwork and documents exchanged, discussed and created are excellent now.
April 20-24 Sun at 1-3* Taurus square Pluto at 3* Aquarius and Mars at 2-3* Leo. (See wheel below)
Tension and some personality conflicts could flare up during this time. Problems with quality work, expertise with particular projects, time constraints, interference, physical tiredness or irritability might be a problem.
Take it easy and if difficulties come up in your life, take a deep breath and trust they are for examining some part of you which needs fixing in some way.
On April 20 – 21 in western hemisphere, the Moon also moves into Aquarius and joins the Pluto in Aquarius, oppose Mars in Leo, square Sun in Taurus. With the addition of the Moon for just 24 hours, we have a stronger emotional element added to the strain. It might come across as strong resistance to being controlled, manipulated, or bossed around. Emotional triggers towards random issues about your life not being the way you want it to be, could be just out of control. Hard calls are made by those in authority globally during this weekend into next week up through the 25th. People getting fired, leaving a position. Challenging realizations regarding economic issues, Engineering accidents and dysfunctional parts of a job addressed or dangerous incompetence could be more likely now than other times.
Arguments over finances, roles we play and are attached to, all these types of domestic conflicts could be much more touchy than usual.

April 23-30 Mars at 2-4* Leo oppose Pluto at 3* Aquarius
Because of the retrograde – stationary – direct motion of Mars from last October through April 28 2025, this normally fast moving planet has slowed way down from Earth’s perspective. This slower motion causes an incredibly concentrated release of energy from the planet Mars upon all of us. (For deeper understanding how it may have impacted our world, go HERE).
A step up of defensive posturing, authoritative leadership and display of bold creative or extra confident qualities infuse our lives in some particular way. Or we could observe it in others. This planet might concentrate its intensity of action, motivation and courageous movement in our lives, in just a few particular areas …{ and how and where we could see this action taking place would be where Mars in Cancer/Leo has been orbiting your own astrology chart. Locating where Cancer/Leo is (find the symbols for those two zodiac signs) and place Mars in that house(s) – then look up the meaning of that house in your chart – that is how it has been pushing you in a particular direction consistently from last October on. }
As Mars has been transiting in this manner, it locked on to Pluto in what we call an opposition from the start, October. That opposition, demands reform. It pushes people around, and for some, increases their need to be the star, or center stage to feel great. It causes extreme polarizing between factions, attitudes and could cause splits, divisiveness or demand reform from others. It can be personal or we see it globally. Mars in Leo also activates the stock market, investments and has a brazen take risk boldness to it.
Because Mars is aggressive (and rules military, police force and other such agencies) and Pluto deals with dangerously planted and deep seated attitudes, positions among communities or organizations, mindsets of particular people etc….we’ve been experiencing a more than normal dangerous period from last late October through April 2025 period of conflict. We have been on the precipice of war, violence, attacks and high tension between several agencies, groups, leaders or industries.
Mars intensifies reform in Leo/Cancer areas within our lives and in the world. It works through all domestic, family, home and security needs, including income. It would truly increase and trigger strong drives to increase or handle better, our money. It stimulates issues surrounding real estate, economic, national wealth, security issues, and the Pluto in Aquarius would intensify themes regarding community, technology, space, truth and transparency and so on. Pluto opposing anything goes extreme with the agenda to reform. If opposing Mars, there would be deep core polarization as Mars is an assertive push back planet. It fights.
In general, it’s been a mess of tangled upheaval tossing every issue up in the air for all to fight over and transform. The positive would be many buried issues simply too complicated or dangerous to address, have been dragged out into the sunlight for it to be torn apart and examined, then changed. That is the nature of Aquarius.
On April 18 – 28 the Sun moves into position to add an extra drama and epic moment into our world. It might be a major missing piece that now is dropped into our pile of issues recently brought to our attention.
How this might impact us personally, would be increased tension, irritation, conflicts within us as to how we could feel we are not being valued, appreciated, getting our needs met. There may be a sense of overwhelm, too much to do, too much tension or pressure, and anything related to conflicts of egos, personality clashes and an obstinate energy resistant to being controlled, opposed or pushed too far. As we can see in the table above, the last intense date of this Mars oppose Pluto is April 28, however, Mars continues to move through the dramatic sign Leo, up to June 17, 2025. Then it’s finally over!
April 29 – May 5 Venus conjoin Neptune
This astrology cycle is part of the grouping of planets, Saturn, Node, Neptune, Mercury, Venus and the March 29 Solar Eclipse all in late Pisces early Aries, and like the other conjunctions above, has also been playing out since late January 2025. This is its final conjunction, Venus/Neptune.. It’s a soft, idealistic reflecting energy. It can be quite emotional, activating regrets, remorse and divine love.
